Early Access for Ooblets means that the game is fully playable, but is still largely unfinished and unpolished. Developer Glumberland says that there are still bugs and unfinished sections in the game, so Ooblets Early Access players will very much be helping finish the game with their feedback.

While Glumberland estimates that finishing Ooblets will take over a year, it implies that it may take much longer than that. Glumberland plans to finish the game’s story, polish the gameplay, and adding lots of content before Ooblets hits its 1.0 release. Content including clothing, furniture, decor, at least two visitable regions, and maybe some new Ooblets, too, are planned for the future.

For Early Access, Ooblets will be priced at $24.99. However, to reward early adopters willing to put up with some bugs, Glumberland is discounting Ooblets 20% to $19.99 for its first week. The discount ends on July 23, and the price will also likely rise once the game is finished. Note that Ooblets is also exclusively available through the Epic Games Store on PC, as previously announced.

Ooblets is available now on PC and Xbox One.
